Instagram Contest UPDATE at the Festival of Quilts

Here's an update on our Juki Club Instagram contest at the 2018 Festival of Quilts. We'd like to introduce the winner!

Rhonda  Hazell is the WINNER of our Festival of Quilts Instagram Contest with this amazing self portrait quilt. We’ve been following Rhonda on Instagram for some time, and we were thrilled to get to meet her in person and see this clever & quirky quilt featuring Rhonda’s favourite sewing machine! Especially because Rhonda came all the way from AUSTRALIA! This brilliant quilt was displayed at the Festival of Quilts, it showed the Juki logo and was INCREDIBLY creative!

The great irony, is that Rhonda actually entered this quilt in the Pictorial Quilts category. But the Show Organisers misplaced the application. After some emails back and forth they invited Rhonda to display her quilt even though it wasn't entered. I'm so glad that she did! It was brilliant to meet Rhonda and to be able to photograph her together with the quilt. I do think it's rather wonderful that Rhonda portrays her favourite sewing machine so beautifully!

 

Instagram & Facebook contest rules

1. Take a photo at the Festival of Quilts that includes the Juki or the Juki Club logo. You can use our photo props at the Juki Stand A 46 or capture the Juki logo or Juki club logo somewhere else in the Festival. You can take a selfie at the sewing machines too.
2. Follow @juki_club on Instagram or Juki Club for Quilters on Facebook.
3. Use the hashtags #myjukiclub and #foq18.
4.  Post your photo on your Instagram or Facebook.
5. Daily prizes will be given at 4:00 for the most creative photo.
6. Prizes can be collected at the Juki Stand A46 on or after 4:00pm every day of the Festival of Quilts 2018.
